The event will take place in downtown Mecosta. M-20 will be closed during the festival. The event runs from 10am – 5pm.

This is an outdoor event.

PA system will be provided but you must bring your own cables, microphones, instruments, etc.

This is a free event. However, you are welcome to set out a tip container.

Although prize money is possible, if approved for participation in our event, you may NOT accept any form of payment from any other organization or entity.

Insurance:

The Village of Mecosta and the event coordinators DO NOT carry any insurance policies, nor do they convey the protection through any policy to vendors selling or artists drawing/painting, live music, etc. for the 2nd Annual Mecosta Art Fair event. The Village of Mecosta and the event coordinators will not be held responsible for any claims or for the safety of products sold at the fair.

The Village of Mecosta and event coordinators reserve the right to amend, add to, or delete any rules and regulations necessary to carry out the operation of the event.

Release:

By completing and signing the Mecosta Art Fair event form, you are agreeing to the following:
I hereby release, jointly and severally, the Village of Mecosta, its officers, employees, agents, and staff members as well as the Mecosta Art Fair event coordinators from any losses, claims, damages, or lawsuits arising from my use of the Village of Mecosta property by myself or my workers.
Further, the Village of Mecosta, its agents, employees, and Mecosta Art Fair coordinators shall not be liable to me or any person on the premises during the term of this agreement for injury to, damage to or loss of property. I further agree to indemnify the Village of Mecosta and the Mecosta Art Fair event coordinators and hold them harmless from all damages, injuries, liabilities, losses, and expenses incurred by any person or party in any way from my use of this premises. I also agree to indemnify the Village of Mecosta and the event coordinators against all costs, including attorney fees, arising out of my use of this property or premises.
I also give the Village of Mecosta and the event coordinators permission to release my band name and photographs for the purposes of marketing and media release including but not limited to newspaper articles, website content, social media posts and other means. I, the undersigned, agree to follow the rules and regulations as they apply to the Mecosta Art Fair event and all waivers.
