Mecosta’s 2nd Annual Little Bear Artisan and Makers Fair

Vendor & Live Art Application, Rules, and Regulations

The event will take place in downtown Mecosta, M-20 will be closed during the festival. The event runs from 10am-5pm

Cost for ONE booth space is $25.00, Booth spaces are 10×10 

Booth space fees will go towards the Village of Mecosta Fireworks and the Art Fair.

THIS IS AN OUTDOOR EVENT, NO ELECTRIC OR WIFI AVAILABLE

Vendors must bring their own tent (tents must be weighted), tables, and chairs. Artists must bring all their own supplies. Vendor/artist booth set up starts at 7:30. Vendors must be ready to start by 10:00am and stay set up until 5:00. Please DO NOT start packing up early. This is a juried event, just because you submit an application does not mean you will receive a spot. You must provide photos of what you intend to sell, photos of your booth set up at a previous event (if available) and/or a sample of your previous projects (live art only). After submitting your application you will receive an email asking for your photos.

Payment Information

To secure your booth space, please submit your signed contract by June 1, 2026. All applications must be approved before payment is accepted. Once you have received notification that your application is approved, you will be instructed as to how to pay your fee. The fee is due within 10 days of acceptance, or your application will be on hold, and you may risk losing your spot.

Insurance

The Village of Mecosta and the event coordinators DO NOT carry any insurance policies, nor do they convey the protection through any policy to vendors selling or artists drawing/painting, etc. at the 2nd Annual Mecosta Art Fair event. The Village of Mecosta and the event coordinators will not be held responsible for any claims or for the safety of products sold at the fair.

The Village of Mecosta and event coordinators reserve the right to amend, add to, or delete any rules and regulations necessary to carry out the operation of the event.

Release

By completing and signing the Mecosta Art Fair event form, you are agreeing to the following:

I hereby release, jointly and severally, the Village of Mecosta, its officers, employees, agents, and staff members, as well as the Mecosta Art Fair event coordinators, from any losses, claims, damages, or lawsuits arising from my use of the Village of Mecosta property by myself or my workers.

Further, the Village of Mecosta, its agents, employees, and Mecosta Art Fair coordinators shall not be liable to me or any person on the premises during the term of this agreement for injury to, damage to, or loss of property. I further agree to indemnify the Village of Mecosta and the Mecosta Art Fair event coordinators and hold them harmless from all damages, injuries, liabilities, losses, and expenses incurred by any person or party in any way from my use of this premises. I also agree to indemnify the Village of Mecosta and the event coordinators against all costs, including attorney fees, arising out of my use of this property or premises.

I UNDERSTAND THAT INABILITY TO ATTEND AFTER REGISTRATION WILL BE CONSIDERED A DONATION TO THE VILLAGE OF MECOSTA. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN UNLESS THE EVENT COORDINATORS CANCEL THE EVENT.

I also give the Village of Mecosta and the event coordinators permission to release my company name, product names, and photographs of my products and person for the purposes of marketing and media release, including but not limited to newspaper articles, website content, social media posts, and other means. I, the undersigned, agree to follow the rules and regulations as they apply to any and all products that I may carry for sale at the Mecosta Art Fair event and all waivers.
