FAQ

Village of Mecosta Annual Little Bear Artisan & Makers Fair

Do I need to buy a ticket for Mecosta’s Artisans and Makers Fair?

Our fair is a community building event and is free to all. Our expenses have been paid by Fate’s Express Mecosta (Our first sponsor, so we hope you will patronize Fate’s Express Mecosta on the day of the fair) and others.

What time does the festival begin and end?

It starts at 10am and finishes at 5pm. There will be live events throughout the day so be sure to pick up a schedule at the Information Booth.

Is there food for sale?

Yes, there are two food and drink providers in Mecosta – Fate’s Express Mecosta, and Coffee & Cream. Support Local businesses!

There will also be free bottled water donated by Ice Mountain in coolers at the Information Booth and by the Village Office.

Is the festival family friendly and may I bring my dog?

Absolutely! It spans only a few blocks and offers many places to sit or rest. There are two large parks within walking distance of the fair – one with a playground for the littles ones and one with a softball field and horseshoe court if you bring your own sports equipment. Your dog (on a leash) is very welcome.

What about parking and handicap parking for festival goers?

A few handicapped spaces are available in the downtown area. The street crew can direct you. Otherwise, parking lots include the Village lot on Hayes Street, the school, the library, the park and the township lot. There’s also parking along the village side streets and back streets.

Is WIFI service provided?

We don’t provide vendors with WIFI service.
