Do I need to buy a ticket for Mecosta’s Artisans and Makers Fair?
Our fair is a community building event and is free to all. Our expenses have been paid by Fate’s Express, our first and only sponsor, so we hope you will patronize Fate’s Express on the day of the fair.
What time does the festival begin and end?
It starts at 9am and finishes at 5pm. There will be live events throughout the day so be sure to pick up a schedule in Pocket Park next to the Village office.
Is there food for sale?
Yes, there are three food and drink providers in Mecosta – Fate’s Market, Woody’s, and Coffee & Cream. Support Local businesses!
Is the festival family friendly and may I bring my dog?
Absolutely! It spans only a few blocks and offers many places to sit or rest. There are two large parks within walking distance of the fair – one with a playground for the littles ones and one with a softball field and horseshoe court if you bring your own sports equipment. Your dog (on a leash) is very welcome.
What about parking and handicap parking for festival goers?
A few handicapped spaces are available in the downtown area. The street crew can direct you. Otherwise, parking lots include the Village lot on Hayes Road, the school, the library, the park, and the township lot. There’s also parking along the village side and back streets.
Is WIFI service provided?
We don’t provide vendors with WIFI service.
